WHAT IS C.A.?

Chartered Accountancy Course offers the student a dream career in the specialisation of A/C, Auditing, Corporate Law, Corporate Finance & Taxation. Chartered Accountants are highly demanded professionals in industry & are handsomely paid.

HOW CAN I BECOME C.A.?

Step I - Appear for C.P.T. (COMMON PROFICIENCY TEST)

Step II - Register for I.P.C.C. ( INTEGRATED PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE COURSE) & start Articleship after clearing I Group.

Step III - Take Final Exam.

Total Duration of Course is approx. 4 years.

WHAT IS C.P.T.?

C.P.T. is an entrance exam for C.A., which can be given just after XII exams. The Registration can be done even after X exams.

WHEN SHOULD I START PREPARING FOR C.P.T.?

As you can appear in C.P.T. exam just after your XII exams, so start preparing along with your regular studies of class XI & XII.

WHEN IS C.P.T. HELD ?

Two times in a year, June & December i.e, every 6 months.

WHAT IS THE SYLLABUS OF C.P.T.?

Paper I :-

(A) ACCOUNTS ----- (60 Marks)

(B) MERCANTILE LAW ----- (40 Marks)

Paper II :-

(A) (A) Q.A. (QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE) i.e., MATHS & STATS ----- (50 Marks)

(B) ECONOMICS ----- (50 Marks)

MORE ABOUT C.P.T.

1.) Scoring 50% marks of Total clears C.P.T. , and 30% marks in Individual subjects.

2.) It is a fully Objective Test with negative marking

Step I - Appear for C.S. Foundation Programme (9 months Course).

Step II - Appear for C.S. Executive Programme (9 months Course). & start 15 months Apprenticeship Training after getting through C.S. Executive Both Groups.

Step III - Appear for C.S. Professional Programme (9 months Course).

AND YOU BECOME A COMPANY SECRETARY.

Total Duration of Course is approx. 4 years.

WHEN SHOULD I START PREPARING FOR C.S.?

• You can register for C.S Foundation Programme just after your XII exams, so start preparing along with your regular studies of class XI & XII.

• You can also directly register for C.S Executive Programme just after your graduation (A graduate of any field except 'Fine Arts' can register).

WHEN ARE C.S. EXAMS HELD?

Twice in a year, June & December months, i.e., in every 6 months.

WHAT IS THE SYLLABUS FOR C.S. FOUNDATION?

Paper I :-

Business Environment and Entrepreneurship ----- (100 marks)

Paper II :-

Business Management Ethics and Communication ----- (100 marks)

Paper III :-

Business Economics ----- (100 marks)

Paper IV :-

Financial Accounting and Auditing ----- (100 marks)

MORE ABOUT C.S.

1.) Scoring 40% marks in individual subjects and a minimum of 50% as an aggregate of all subjects gets you through all C.S. Exams.

2.) Foundation Exam is a Fully Objective Test
